Joseph Park graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in English from Cal Poly, Pomona. After working as an engineer in the petroleum industry for a couple of years, he went to law school at the University of San Diego School of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate in 2003. After initially working in a patent law firm, he decided that working as an estate planning attorney would align more closely with his personality and goals as an attorney.  For the past fifteen years, Joseph has been primarily working in estate planning, trust administration and probate administration.

Joseph firmly believes that a life lived in service is a life well lived.  He joined the San Diego Elder Law Center because of their shared belief in serving their clients with compassionate, ethical and professional service.

When not at work, he enjoys exploring different foods with his family, gardening, cooking, and fishing our local coastline. He enjoys conversation about any of these topics and any mention of these topics is guaranteed to lead to a conversational detour.
