Heather Lewis

Heather Lewis graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2013 with a degree in International and Comparative Criminal Justice from Kaplan University. In 2014, she obtained her Master of Science Degree in Legal Studies, with an emphasis in state and local government. Heather has focused much of her research on advocacy for the underprivileged and those with special needs. She is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, an International Scholar Laureate member, and a member of the international and local chapters of the Association of Legal Administrators.

 

Heather joined San Diego Elder Law Center in 2014 and has enjoyed being part of “team SDELC” working to help San Diego County’s elderly and disabled population and their families. Heather believes in exemplary client service and always being available to listen to client needs. She passionately enjoys her role as Office Administrator where she gets to crunch numbers, analyze statistics, and help other staff members. She also loves her work in Conservatorship cases with helping to ensure disabled persons receive the financial and health care assistance they deserve.

 

True to her Colorado roots, Heather enjoys hiking and being outside. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, twins, and four rabbits. Heather is an avid reader and averages 50 books per year. She also loves cooking, playing the piano, doing Pilates, and teaching yoga.
