Remembering Our Fallen Heros
Thank you to the men and women of the United States Armed Forces who, regardless of where they were born, what or who they worshiped, who they loved or who they voted for, sacrificed their lives for the idea that all of our citizens have the right to "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness". Thanks, also to their families who honor them every day, not just this weekend.
Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremonies on Monday, 11 a.m. at Glen Abbey Memorial Park, 3838 Bonita Road. In partnership with Chula Vista Fleet Reserve Association, branch 61, the service will honor those who've died in military service with presentation of colors, performances of the national anthem, "America the Beautiful" and taps, a rifle salute, performances by the AIM San Diego West Mime Company, fly-over by vintage planes and a display of classic cars.
